Who is at risk? Are you at risk? Of course not you don't live in a dangerous area, you aren't the one they are looking for. WRONG! You are at risk because Human Trafficking doesn't discriminate.

Not just overseas

Human trafficking is occurring here and right now! We need to be aware of this issue and we need to realize that it happens here. The link below shows the cases of human trafficking here in Chico and local counties including one that occurred this year

Every age

Age does not matter to a trafficker. You can be as young as 5 or as old as 80. Traffickers look for naive people who they can easily take advantage of. The average age is 9 to 20 year olds but they don't discriminate in age because there are so many forms of trafficking.

Every race

Every Gender

Traffickers are not looking for a color when they target their victims. They don't care what your race is because they just need a human body to take and exploit. Your race won't save you from human trafficking because human trafficking doesn't discriminate.

EveryBODY is at risk!

Boy or girl, women or men? It doesn't matter! Your gender does not matter to a trafficker because your trafficker can be a women or a man therefore their victim can be a man, woman, boy, or girl. Your gender does not matter because if you are a man you can be trafficked into labor, or a women into sex trafficking but it can be opposite too because women can work and men too can have sex. It doesn't matter what gender you are because there will be a form of trafficking that your gender can fit well for.
